EPHRATA, Pa.–A woman was arrested Sunday after police said she attacked three people in the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital emergency room.
Jennie Szekeres, 27, of Honey Brook is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of criminal mischief.
Police were called to the hospital located along the 100 block of Martin Avenue around 11: 20 a.m. on Sunday for a report of an assault.
Employees told investigators that Szekeres assaulted three staff members, including emergency medical service personnel and nurses. None of their injuries were life threatening, police said.
After Szekeres was treated, she was arraigned and taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 10.
