WEST YORK, Pa. – West York Borough Police say rape suspect Brison Phillip Farmer has been captured. Borough police had provided wanted flyers for Farmer to the media, social media and to Wellspan York Hospital’s security staff. Armed with one of those flyers a Wellspan Security Guard spotted Farmer’s unoccupied vehicle, a black Mercedes-Benz GL4 SUV, parked within York Hospital’s parking garage and notified police.
A York City Police officer responded to the hospital to secure the vehicle for West York Borough Police. While the officer was waiting for borough police to arrive, Farmer came out of the hospital. He was taken into custody without incident as he attempted to return to his vehicle.
Farmer was handed over to West York Borough Police who took him to York County Central Booking for arraignment. Charges against Farmer include Rape, Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Restraint
